Our appreciation extends to the ASA Range Marshalls—Rene Schaub, Angela Anderson Johnson, and Michael Oneschuk—alongside the exceptional support from Brandon and its facilities.

Archery Canada’s staff and volunteers played crucial roles, including Karl Balisch, Jamie Brehaut, and Aaron Bull, in the planning and success of the event. The event’s execution was also well managed by Archery Manitoba Volunteers and Staff, led by VP of 3D Archery Sean Murray, supported by Bob Tataryn, Chad Sanders, Matt Strate, Allan & Wyatt Gunter, Kai & Jen Maczuga, Kazwel Levandoski, Brad Mathers and Ryan Van Berkel.

Sean Murray remarked, “We are pleased with how our out-of-province guest shooters and Manitoba archery community received the event. Our goal was to support a national event that would bring opportunity and resources to Manitoba for our archers and highlight our community’s ability to host a great event. We hope the event’s legacy will lead to more awareness and growth in ASA for our provincial events and clubs. It was a pleasure working with the entire team to make this event a success, and we look forward to hosting again in the future.”

The championships brought new equipment and experience and highlighted the growth potential for ASA events within Manitoba, setting a promising precedent for future competitions.

Manitoba Archers Standout in 2025 Canadian Regional Indoor Championships

At the 2025 Regional Indoor Championships, which took place on March 1 and 2, Manitoba archers showcased outstanding skill and sportsmanship. This national event, organized at various local clubs across Canada, featured over 850 archers competing in individual and team categories at 38 locations.
