Congratulations to Team Manitoba Target Archers Bryanne Lameg Brady Klassen & Austin Taylor on a successful performance at the 2017 Arizona Cup this past weekend!
Bryanne, a Junior aged archer, competed in the Compound Senior Female Category placing 18th out of 52 archers in the qualifying round. Bryanne went on to win her first match (1/32) with a score of 138 in the eliminations, before falling to her second round (1/16) opponent by one point shooting 139.
Brady, competing in his first major event as a cadet placed 4th out of 31 archers in the qualifying round with a score of 687. Brady went on to win his first match with a score of 140. Brady was eliminated in the second round (1/8) with a score of 133.
Austin had a fantastic qualifying round placing 1st of 31 archers with a score 705, which is a new tournament record and one point off tying the World Record. In elimination matches, Austin won his first match (1/8) with a score of 143 which took him into the 1/4 finals where he lost his opponent by one point, posting a score of 142.
