Matchplay rounds are head-to-head (two archers per group)\, shooting 5 ends of 3 arrows for a total cumulative score of 150 (compound) or first to 6 matchplay points (recurve). These matchplay rounds are for fun\, development\, and practice for more significant events\, such as provincials or nationals. Due to the size and variety of our local events\, matchplay at the club level is integrated\, meaning ages and genders are often combined. The integrated format includes a distance and target face handicap\, meaning archers shoot the distance and target for their age category regardless of their opponents.
