DESCRIPTION:Location: Archery Manitoba Sanford Range\nLocation Map Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/tCqLUCYTcpGPw4T39\nHost: Archery Manitoba\nFees\n\n$50 per archer – Championship 720 and optional MB Open entry\n$25 per archer  – Mixed Team Event \n\n\n\nRegistration:  https://2mev.com/#!/events/2024-archery-manitoba-target-provincials\nDeadline – Thursday\, September 5 (end of day) \nSchedule:  \n\nSaturday\, September 7 \n\n9:00                        Doors Open\n10:30                      Practice\n10:30 – 13:00       720 Scoring\n14:00 – 17:00       Mixed Team Event (optional)\n\nSunday\, September 8 – (additional optional event) \n\n9:00                      Doors Open\n9:30 – 10:15        Open Practice\n10:30 –  15:30      Individual Match Play\n16:00                    Awards (Awards for both days)\n\nAdditional Information \n\nGuests (out-of-province Archery Canada Members) are welcome and eligible to medal\, but you must be an Archery Manitoba Member to participate in the championship ranking.\nOnline Pre-Registration is required.\nRegistration closes at the end of the day on September 5th.\nThe Saturday 720 Round(s) will determine the Provincial Champions.\nThe Manitoba Open Match Play Event is included in registration but is optional. – The Manitoba Open is a double elimination Matchplay event on the second day (Sunday\, Sept 8th). Archers are split into four categories: Recurve/Barebow 15 & up\, Recurve/Barebow U15\, Compound 15 & Up\, and Compound U15. Genders and age categories within those four categories are integrated if deemed necessary\, with archers shooting at their age/division-appropriate target face and distance (handicap).  The archer that finishes first in their category will be named MB Open Champion\, awarded a special plaque at our annual awards\, and win prize money based on registrations.\nMixed Team Event—The mixed team event will have cash prizes for the first\, second\, and third-placed teams. This event is a great opportunity for archers of all abilities to learn or polish their mixed-team event skills! The prize estimates are based on registration in the event.

DESCRIPTION:Are you passionate about archery and interested in becoming a coach? We’re seeking intermediate to advanced archers eager to undertake coach training and help develop talent at the club level. We have the perfect course for you if you’re keen on guiding new archers within your community or club! \nOur certified coach training ensures that archery instruction is delivered with the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy. The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Course covers archery-specific techniques and provides valuable athlete and program management skills that can enhance your personal and professional life. \nArchery Manitoba’s Coaching Coordinator\, Ron Cooney\, will lead the NCCP Instructor of Beginner Archer Course (Level 1) on Saturday and Sunday\, September 28 & 29 (enrollment includes both days). This hybrid course will be available both virtually and in person at the Sport for Life Center\, 145 Pacific Avenue\, Winnipeg\, MB\, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day. The course fee is $100 per participant\, with a $50 rebate available for those who complete the post-course workbook and become certified. \n“Instructor of Beginner Archers: This workshop prepares coaches/instructors to introduce archery to athletes across various settings\, including clubs\, camps\, schools\, and other organized activities. Through mini-lessons\, demonstrations\, and interventions during shooting\, participants will gain the skills needed to teach the sport effectively. \nHiring Lessons Coaches (Instructors)\nArchery Manitoba hires Beginner Coaches (Instructors) for the Heartland Archery Lessons Program. Suppose you have experience as a lessons student or recreational archer and are interested in teaching new archers while earning up to $20/hour. In that case\, we encourage you to consider taking our coaching course.
