SUMMARY:MYGOLD Program
DESCRIPTION:The ABAM is proud to announce the creation of a new pilot program\, MYGOLD (Manitoba Youth Games & Olympic Long-term Development)  geared toward recurve athletes of the intermediate to advance levels. The program will provide the tools and coaching to take archers from the advanced lessons and introduction to competition stage to the level necessary to meet criteria for Manitoba Games\, Canada Games and our Provincial Team Program. The coaches leading the pilot will be Avril Hatherell and Carrie Minion\, both long time archers that have recently trained under National Olympic Coach Shawn Riggs\,  as they continue training in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) – Competition Development Program.  The program details are as follows: \nOverview: This program is to provide a platform to continue to implement the material and coaching from the Archery Canada – ABAM 2019 Canada Winter Games Training Camp as provided by National Coaches Shawn Riggs and Duncan Crawford. \nGoal: The goal of this program is to provide coaching to developing youth recurve archers via a structured and professional programming. \nFocus: Getting recurve archers to compete in indoor and outdoor events at increasingly higher levels\, with goal of multi-sport games participation. \nProgram details: \n\nLocation: Heights Archery (2281 Portage Ave\, Winnipeg\, MB) for indoors (outdoor continuation & location TBA)\nLength: Two (2) Hours per session\nDay of the week: a mix of Saturday mornings & evenings\, to offer training environments that are consistent with changing schedules of major events.\nAverage Class Size – 10 athletes – 2 coaches\nCost: $350 per block of 10 sessions.\n\nArchers should commit to a minimum of 8 of those sessions and will not be reimbursed for missed sessions.\nDates & Times\n\nJan 5\, 12\, 26 – 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM\nFeb 9 – 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM\nMarch 9\, 16\, 30 – 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM\nApril 6 – 6:30 – 8:30 PM\nApril 13 – 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM\nApril 27 – 6:30 – 8:30 PM

SUMMARY:Western Canadian Indoor Open Championship
DESCRIPTION:Western Canadian Target Open\n\n\nIs a 300 Round Vegas style\, 18m target tournament with 75% pay back.Format:\n300 Round\, shot on a Vegas face\, using outer 10 scoringChampionship Division:\nAll Archers will shoot a 300 round\, and be ranked by their highest 300 round score.\nThe top 16 Championship Compound Men scores\, and top 4 Scores in other Championship divisions will shoot off for 80% of the entry fee prize pool from their division Saturday Evening.\nThe shoot off will follow the NFAA Las Vegas Shoot Off Format. Equipment rules are follow the NFAA Las Vegas Shoot rules. \nFlights:\nAll entrants will be ranked using their highest 300 round score.\nPrize money will be given out to the top 3 archers in each flight\, using the payout schedule attached.\nMulligan round- After completing their first round\, archers are given the option to shoot a second “Mulligan round” This gives archers a second chance to make the shoot off. If an archer shoots a mulligan round\, they must use that score for their ranking. \nFees:\nChampionship Divisions $60\nFlights $40\nMulligan round\n$30 Championship\n$20 Flights\n
