Whether you are a seasoned pro aiming for a provincial title or a recreational archer looking to try something new\, this event is for everyone. \nThe 2026 Manitoba Target Championships is an open event welcoming all Manitoba archers. Come for the competition\, stay for the BBQ\, and maybe even head home with a door prize! \n\n🗓️ Event Schedule\nSaturday\, July 25: Championship Day & Team Fun\n\nProvincial Championship 720 Round: The premier ranking round to crown our provincial leaders.\nTeam Event (Afternoon): A high-energy “fun round” following the championships. Team up with fellow archers for a relaxed\, social competition.\n\nSunday\, July 26: The Manitoba Open\n\nElimination Match Play: Experience the thrill of head-to-head archery! This bracket-style tournament is a spectator favourite and a great way to test your nerves under pressure.\nSaturday\, July 25 \n\n9:00                        Doors Open\n9:30                        Practice\n10:30 – 13:00       720 Scoring\n14:00 – 17:00       Mixed Team Event (optional)\n\nSunday\, July 26 \n\n9:00                      Doors Open\n9:30 – 10:15        Open Practice\n10:30 –  15:30     Individual Match Play\n16:00                    Awards (Awards for both days)\n\n\n\n\n🏹 Flexible Participation\nYou choose how you want to play! \n\nFull Weekend: Compete in every event for the ultimate experience.\nSingle Day/Single Event: Only have time for Saturday morning? Just want to try the Sunday Match Play? No problem! Archers can register for any combination of events.\n\n\n🍔 Food\, Fun\, and Learning\n\nNew to Match Play or Team Rounds? Don’t sweat it! We will hold briefings prior to the events to explain the rules and formats so everyone feels confident on the line.\nBBQ Lunches: We’ll be firing up the grill both days to keep you fueled and ready to shoot.\nDoor Prizes: Stick around for your chance to win some great gear and prizes!\n\n\n🤝 Volunteer Opportunities: Get Involved!\nWe are currently seeking volunteers to help manage the field of play! This is a fantastic way to get behind the scenes of a major tournament. \nLooking ahead to the 2027 Canadian Nationals: With the Canadian National Championships coming to Winnipeg next summer\, this is the perfect training ground. If you are interested in learning the ropes or potentially volunteering for the Nationals\, this event will provide the hands-on experience you need to feel confident on the national stage.
