Training Course: Instructor of Beginner Archer

The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Instructor of Beginner Archer course is a weekend training program that teaches people how to instruct beginner archers. The course covers technical skills, theory, and how to manage athletes and programs.

You will learn how to teach archery to beginners, how to manage athletes and programs, and archery-specific technique

Who can take the course?

  • People who are new to coaching and want to learn how to teach beginners
  • People who wish to teach archery at schools, clubs, camps, or other organized activities

Our certified coach training ensures that archery instruction is delivered with the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy. The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Course covers archery-specific techniques and provides valuable athlete and program management skills that can enhance your personal and professional life.

Archery Manitoba’s Coaching Coordinator, Ron Cooney, will lead the NCCP Instructor of Beginner Archer Course (Level 1) on Saturday and Sunday, April 26 & 27  (enrollment includes both days). This hybrid course will be available virtually and in person at the Sport for Life Center, 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily. The course fee is $100 per participant, with a $50 rebate available for those who complete the post-course workbook and become certified.

The course is open to youth (ages 14 and up) and adults interested in becoming archery coaches.
