2025 Manitoba Indoor 3D Archery Championships

Archery Manitoba is excited to announce the 2025 Manitoba Indoor 3D Archery Championships, slated for the weekend of April 12 and 13 at the Portage Curling Club and Canad Inns Destination Portage La Prairie in beautiful Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. This event marks our first Indoor Provincial Championship using the ASA Competition Format, promising a thrilling weekend of archery excellence.

Our championship weekend will kick off on Saturday afternoon with the Youth Championships, which will welcome up to 40 young archers. The competition will be divided into two rounds: check-in and practice at 1:00 PM, Round 1 at 1:30 PM and Round 2 at 3:30 PM. The day will culminate with an awards ceremony at 5:00 PM.

Saturday evening offers an optional team round open to archers of all ages. This team event will feature a 20-target course with a random draw format. Check-in and practice begin at 6:00 PM, the team round begins at 6:30 PM, and awards are presented at approximately 8:00 PM. More details on the format will be included with the registration launch.

On Sunday, senior archers will take center stage with two rounds of 20 targets, accommodating up to 80 participants. The day begins with final course preparations at 7:00 AM and check-in for the first group at 8:00 AM. Archers will compete in rounds 1 and 2 throughout the day, with awards presented at 4:30 PM.

Our championship weekend aims to provide a quality tournament and a memorable social experience. Families and friends are encouraged to join in, whether competing or cheering from the Tavern United overlooking the venue. Guests can also enjoy convenient on-site accommodations, dining, and pool amenities.

We warmly invite the archery community to join us in what promises to be an exciting and engaging weekend. Experience ASA scoring, challenging targets, and a welcoming atmosphere highlighting Manitoba archery’s best. For those who wish to register, $20 for the team round, $40 for youth participants, and $50 for adults.

Canada Inns Polo Park – Even Specific Reservation Page

Archery Manitoba has reserved a block of rooms(#881757), for April 11th, 2025, at the Canad Inns Destination Centre Portage la Prairie.

Reservations can be made online, on your group booking page at the link above, or by calling our reservation team at 1-888-332-2623 and quoting the above group block number.

The following rooms have been reserved for attendees as part of our block:

– 8 Rooms with 1 Queen size bed and 1 pull-out sofa ($125.00 plus applicable taxes per night)
– 12 Rooms with 1 Queen and 1 Double ($125.00 plus applicable taxes per night)
– 5 Suites with 1 Queen Bed and 1 pull-out sofa ($140.00 plus applicable taxes per night)

All guest rooms that individual guests have not picked up before March 11th, 2025, will be put back into inventory for sale to the general public.

  • Saturday, April 12:
    • 1:00 PM: Youth check-in and practice
    • 1:30 PM: Youth Round 1
    • 3:30 PM: Youth Round 2
    • 5:00 PM: Medal Ceremony (participants must shoot in the same class; no overflow to Sunday).
    • 5:30 PM: Reset targets for team round.
    • 6:00 PM: Optional Team Event check-in and practice (maximum 40 youth).

  • Sunday, April 13:
    • 8:00 AM: Check-in and practice for Group 1, Round 1
    • 8:30 AM: Group 1, Round 1
    • 10:30 AM: Group 2, Round 1
    • 12:30 PM: Group 1, Round 2
    • 2:30 PM: Group 2, Round 2
    • 4:30 PM: Awards Ceremony

Team Round Format:

  • Saturday, April 12 – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • A maximum of 40 participants, divided into 10 teams of 4 shooters.
  • Each shooter must contribute five scored arrows to the team’s overall score.
  • The payouts for the top four teams are as follows: 1st place—$350, 2nd place—$200, 3rd place—$120, and 4th place—$80, to be split among team members.
  • A shoot-off will determine the winner in a tie within the payout positions. Each tied team will select one shooter to participate in a “closest to the lower 12” shoot-off to break the tie.
  • Payment is required in cash at the time of the event.
