MYGOLD Program: A Pathway to Excellence for Young Archers
Overview: The Archery MYGOLD Program is designed to support the development of youth competitive archers through a comprehensive, structured, and professional coaching environment. This program serves as a critical bridge, guiding young archers from local and provincial competitions to meeting the criteria for elite events such as the Canada Winter Games and Provincial Team Programs.
Goal: Our primary objective is to equip developing archers with the skills and knowledge to advance from introductory lessons and local competitions to the higher levels required for national competitions. Led by NCCP Competition Development-trained coaches with extensive experience in high-performance development, this program ensures a challenging yet supportive environment. Each session accommodates a maximum of 10 archers, ensuring personalized attention with two coaches per group. Running bi-weekly for two-hour sessions, the Spring 2026 phase focuses on refining indoor competition skills, technical proficiency, equipment preparation, and mental performance.
The Spring 2026 session not only aims to enhance the competencies of archers who participated in the Manitoba Winter Games but also welcomes other archers at similar stages of development. Join us from April to June as we continue to develop future champions.
Registration and Details: Stay tuned for more information on registration and details for the Spring 2026 session. We look forward to guiding the next generation of archery talent
