Exciting developments are underway in the Pembina Valley! A dedicated group of community members is working diligently to establish a regional archery club and indoor facility in Morris, featuring five modest lanes with plans for future expansion. To bring this vision to life, they seek support through membership purchases or deposits to gauge the community’s interest in supporting a new archery facility.
The group has tentatively secured an indoor range space on Main Street in Morris, providing members 24/7 unstaffed access. This club aims to offer a welcoming space for families and individuals interested in archery, whether for family activities, social connections, exercise, bowhunting practice, or competitive archery.
In addition to personal benefits, the club plans to host community events and programs, such as archery introductions for community groups, lessons, Archery Manitoba events, and even birthday parties. With an opening target date of April 1st, the club offers a dynamic environment for archers of all levels.
Prospective members can show their support in these ways:
Membership Deposit: A $50 deposit towards an initial $160 membership, covering three months of range access and annual membership dues. If the drive is unsuccessful, the full deposit will be refunded. If the club succeeds and you choose not to proceed, your deposit will be withheld.
Annual Membership & Three-Month Range Access Pass: Commit to an annual membership and three-month access for $150 plus a $10 yearly membership fee (includes club membership, Archery Manitoba membership and Archery Canada membership). Supporters will be entered to win a full refund and ASA Tour Manitoba apparel.
