Heartland 3D Throwdown

Is a two-person team, best arrows event. Archers register as individuals, and teams will be drawn randomly within the three divisions offered. Teams will shoot a 30-target course for qualification, and the top 5 teams from each division will go to a 6-arrow alternating shot shoot-off to determine the winners.

Divisions (Prize Groups)

• U18 Division – Integrated equipment, gender, and ages 17 & younger.
• Senior Division
  • Traditional (Recurve/Long/Barebow/Traditional)
  • Compound (Compound Teams will have one K50 & one Hunter per team)
    • Known 50
    • Hunter

Each archer per team shoots one arrow per target with the higher scoring of arrows being scored. Teams must use at least 10 shots/scores out of 30 per team member. For example, if an archer shoots lower than their partner for 25 of the 30 shots, the team is forced to take that archer’s next 5 highest scores. The intent is to ensure a single archer doesn’t ‘carry’ a team entirely.

In the event a Compound archer is paired with a Traditional archer, the team has to record at least 7 scores out of the total 30 by the Traditional archer.

Shooting Fees

• $60 u18
• $80 Senior

Prizes

• Cash Prizes up to $4000
• Top 3 teams in each division win cash prizes.

• Doors at 8:00 AM
• U18 Scoring at 9:00 AM
• Senior Scoring at 11:00 AM
• Lunch Break 12:30 – 1:30 PM
• Shoot-offs from – 1:30 – 3:00 PM
