The Protecting Youth in Sports ActThe Protecting Youth in Sports Act (Bill 21) is a Manitoba legislative act that ensures safe sporting environments for athletes aged 21 and under. It mandates that provincially recognized Sport Organizations adopt the Sport Manitoba Safe Sport Policy Manual. The act, effective April 1, 2026, requires mandatory coaching education, independent investigation of maltreatment, and enforces universal discipline for coaches or officials.
