On Sunday, November 12, Archery Manitoba kicked off its eagerly anticipated First Flight series with a large group of eager new archers. The event, hosted at local archery shops Heartland Archery and Heights Outdoors, marked the initiation of this year’s series, promising a season of exciting first achievements and skill development.
Over 30 archers, fueled by enthusiasm, participated in their first-ever competitive event. The resonating twang of bowstrings and the thud of arrows hitting their marks filled the air as these budding archers showcased their burgeoning skills.
A worthy acknowledgment goes to Heartland Archery and Heights Outdoors for generously donating their range time, a crucial contribution that made this event possible. Their commitment to fostering archery in the community is truly commendable.
Special thanks are also extended to the dedicated volunteer organizers and mentors who selflessly guided the new archers through their inaugural competition. Their expertise and encouragement were instrumental in creating an environment where every participant felt supported on their journey into competitive archery.
As Archery Manitoba reflects on this successful launch, anticipation builds for the continued triumph of the First Flight series. The organization is eager to witness the growth of participating archers as they hone their competitive skills throughout the upcoming events, shaping a promising future for archery in Manitoba.
