National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Archery Manitoba will be observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th as a way to respect and honour the lives lost and acknowledge the lasting impact residential schools continue to leave on Indigenous individuals and communities. There are many ways to recognize this day, whether you’re attending an event, wearing an orange shirt to help spread awareness or by taking some time to learn on your own such as reading more about the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s calls to action, specifically calls 87-91 addressing Indigenous athlete support and development:
