Heartland 3D Throwdown Team Event

If you’re a 3D enthusiast or just someone who loves archery events, then mark your calendars for the Heartland Throwdown. This exciting new 3D team event is set to take place this coming weekend, and it’s sure to be a day filled with fun, excitement, and prizes. The Heartland Throwdown 3D Archery Event is set to take place on Saturday, April 15 at the Lorette Community Complex in Lorette, Manitoba, and it promises to be an event like no other.

This new and unique event will see archers randomly teamed up by the host organizers into three categories Under 18 (17 years and younger), Compound (Known 50 and Hunters), and Traditional (Recurve/Long/Barebow/Traditional). Each archer per team shoots one arrow per target with the higher scoring of arrows being scored. Teams must use at least 10 shots out of 30 per team member.  The intent is to ensure teams are balanced and keep the competition close for all competitors. This event is geared toward archers of all abilities, looking to have fun and meet others in the community.

One of the most exciting aspects of the Heartland Throwdown 3D Archery Event is the cash prizes and silent auction fundraiser that will be held during the event. All proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting the First Flight Introduction to 3D Program, which is a great cause that helps introduce new archers to the 3D competition format.

The silent auction features a fantastic array of prizes, including the Mission by Mathews Radik bow valued at $430 and the Diamon Edge 320 bow valued at $500. There are also Black Eagle Spartan arrows, a Conquest Tallon quiver, a set of Firewire Custom Bow Strings, and an X Shot lens, all valued at hundreds of dollars each.

In addition to these amazing prizes, there is also a Cabela’s Intensity 1600R Laser Rangefinder (donated by Brad Mathers and Brava Creations), four three-pack G5 Broads valued at $60 each, Prime Archery Apparel valued at $200, and BBQ accessories package donated by Shawn at Poplar Smoke BBQ.

There will also be plenty of food and drink available for purchase at the BBQ Lunch hosted by Poplar Smoke BBQ, so you can stay fueled up and ready to compete. the Heartland Throwdown 3D Archery Event is an event not to be missed.
