2021 Archery Manitoba 3D Provincial Open Championship

The 2021 Manitoba 3D Open Championships wrapped up this past weekend after a full two days of 3D action. Thank you to all the archers and parents that made the trip to compete over the weekend, which provided all kinds of conditions. From extreme winds on Saturday morning to rain showers on Sunday afternoon, organizers were pleased to see lots of happy archers work their way through the course.
Archery Manitoba would like to extend big thank you to the Flatlanders Archery Club volunteers, specifically Chad Sanders, James Platt, Leonard Budgell, and Dave Tissot for creating three great courses. Thank you to our provincial judges Tom Comberbach, Travis Boucher and Mike Oneschuk for assisting with the course design, setup and officiating of the events. Thanks to Flatlanders members Sherry and Chyler Sanders for putting on a BBQ lunch Sunday, we were happy to see all the food sold! And finally thank you to Archery Manitoba Committee members Bob Tataryn, April Willis and Dan Hudson on site assisting with course setup and registration.
Thank you to our sponsors and prize donations, specifically Travis Van Daele and Derek Robins from Jo Brook Outdoors, Joel Brugger from FireWire Strings, and Dan Hudson for handmaking and donating a a custom PVC recurve bow!
Despite a late season start and decreased events due to Covid, there were many positives to highlight this season. Archery Manitoba is pleased to see a consistent and growing group of shooters and clubs excited to participate in, and 3D host events. We are looking forward to the indoor season, and the opportunity to support our partner clubs in hosting quality events for Manitoba archers.
Due to the weather, we were forced to take our prize raffle, results posting and medal ceremonies to online & mailout. Below are the prize winners and final results for the event. If you are listed as a prize winner, please contact the office to organize pick up (if in Winnipeg) or delivery.  Certificates and Medals will be mailed out to archers in the top 3 of their respective category later this week.
